I am Sophie Drummer.
In a world where everything is becoming ever faster, more fleeting, and more interchangeable, I live for timelessness, peace, and devotion.
I live in connection with myself and nature, in my own rhythm, and thus create art that radiates precisely that and creates a moment of peace for everyone who contemplates it. I see spirituality in the everyday - in the wind blowing through leaves, in the sun powerfully breaking through the clouds, in the endless force of the waves at the sea - and in the fact that I am alive, a human being with feelings, and i love to feel all of them.
THE ART
In my art, I capture the spirituality of the everyday and create works that offer a respite from the fast pace of life. Works that invite you to pause, find peace, and dream. Art that is not only beautiful but also relaxes body and soul.
I paint what it feels like to be connected to nature and to yourself. What it feels like to completely surrender to the beauty of a moment.
Abstraction gives me the freedom to express everything through movement and space for intuition and flow.
Figurative, nature-inspired details bring the experience into reality, giving form to the emotion – making it tangible.
Each painting is an experience that wants to be lived, where stillness and intensity meet, where feelings become visible for which there are usually no words. Layer by layer, works full of color, light, and energy emerge.
